Melania Trump May Not Move To White House At All – Report
First Lady Melania Trump may be staying put at her $100 million triplex apartment at 721 Fifth Avenue in New York City and never move to the White House according to Us Weekly.
Donald Trump announced back in November that Melania won’t move into the White House until their son Barron finishes the school year. Now it seems that it may be permanent.
A source for the magazine said: “They will reevaluate toward the end of the school year if they will keep this arrangement or if Melania and Barron will move to Washington. They could go either way right now. They will ultimately do what’s best for Barron.”
When asked if not having Melania and Barron around made him lonely, Trump told ABC News in January: “No, because I end up working longer. And that’s OK.”
Right now, Melania and Barron visit the White House on weekends – though they missed last weekend already because of the protests against Trump’s Muslim Ban.
So what is Melania doing now exactly?
According to Us Weekly, she is “actively building her team, including hiring a chief of staff, a senior adviser and a social secretary, among other key positions.”
In other words, for the moment, we don’t really have a First Lady.
