‘Maze Runner’ Production Halted Indefinitely Due To Dylan O’Brien’s Injuries
Dylan O’Brien needs more time to recover from injuries he sustained last March 17 on the set of “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure.” Production has now been delayed indefinitely.
Production was supposed to restart May 9.
FOX said in a statement: “The resumption of principal photography on ‘Maze Runer: The Death Cure’ has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to fully recover from his injuries. We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.”
Dylan’s publicist added (via Variety): “His injuries are very serious and he needs more time to recover.”
The movie was set for a Feb, 17, 2017 release, but that will have to be pushed back now.
So disappointing. But get well soon Dylan O’Brien!
