Mariah Carey is No Longer the Queen of Christmas in Retail Stores

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” has been dethroned as the #1 song played in retail stores this year. It’s been the most played song during the holidays since 1994.

The song that beat it is “Wonderful Christmastime” by The Shins, according to PlayNetwork (via Paste).

Mariah Carey’s fans are of course upset and I’m sure Mariah will be back on top next year.
