Man Who Inspired Taylor Swift Song Arrested For Abusing 3-Year-Old Child
Taylor Swift’s teenage crush, Andrew Hardwick, who famously inspired her hit song “Teardrops On My Guitar” has been charged with abusing a 3-year-old girl.
Hardwick was arrested in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Saturday after police found a child had sustained a concussion and “severe bruising and lacerations” to her head. It was so severe, the child had to be airlifted to a children’s hospital for treatment.
According to the NY Daily News, Taylor Swift “name-checked Hardwick in her tearful ballad as ‘Drew,’ a teen oblivious to Swift’s crush on him, lamenting that he was the ‘reason for the teardrops on (her) guitar.'”
