Lovable Dog Sees Dolphins For the First Time — And Joins Them For a Swim! (VIDEO)
Dogs are natural swimmers, so it’s no surprise when they decide to go for a dip. But what happens when a dog meets a dolphin for the first time? And not just one dolphin, but an entire pod (yes, that’s apparently the name for a group of dolphins)? The result is one of the cutest videos we’ve seen in a while.
Sandy the dog is a stray taken in by friends of Joe Noonan, a shamanic nature guide, author and dolphin whisperer who organizes private, custom “ocean adventures” in which groups can swim with wild dolphins in Hawaii and the Bahamas. Joe took Sandy out with him on one of these adventures, and it was a major first for her: her first time on the boat, her first time swimming out in the middle of the ocean, and her first time seeing dolphins in the wild!
