Live-Action ‘Winnie The Pooh’ in the Works at Disney
It’s a day that ends in “y,” which means it’s also a day when Disney is reportedly working on turning another cartoon property into a live-action film.
This time around that cartoon (which was originally adapted from stories by author A.A. Milne) is Winnie the Pooh.
According to Deadline, the film will center around adult Christopher Robin and his return to the Hundred Acre Wood and his best friend/stuffed bear Winnie the Pooh.
Independent filmmaker Alex Ross Perry — the writer-director of Listen Up Philip — has been brought in by the mouse to work on the film.
