Lin-Manuel Miranda Leads Broadway Carpool Karaoke With James Corden (VIDEO)

Carpool Karaoke is one of The Late Late Show’s most popular segments. Hell, it’s one of the most popular segments in all of late night TV. So why not bring on the man who’s arguably the most popular performer/writer/activist in all of Broadway to lead a theater-themed edition of the show?

Hamilton scribe Lin-Manuel Miranda appeared on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden alongside Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jane Krakowski. Among the Broadway classics they sing are “Seasons of Love” from Rent (and what a fantastic reaction to the first note!), “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” from Jersey Boys, “One Day More” from Les Miserables and even some Hamilton. Throughout, the group trades jokes in-between offering advice to Corden about hosting the Tonys. It’s a wonderful segment, and definitely worth a look, whether you’re big into theater or not.
