Kyle MacLachlan Will Return to the World of ‘Twin Peaks’

In case you missed it, David Lynch’s short-lived television series Twin Peaks will be returning as a Showtime series in 2016.

Today (Jan. 12) Showtime confirmed that Kyle MacLachlan, who played Agent Dale Cooper will be a part of the revival. Good work Diane!

Showtime made the announcement during their Television Critics Association panel, wherein they had MacLachlan come out and hand the Showtime president a damn fine cup of coffee.

“I’m very excited to return to the strange and wonderful world of Twin Peaks. May the forest be with you,” MacLachlan said of the news.

The revival of the series will take place over the course of nine episodes, all of which will be directed by David Lynch.
