The Voice 2016 Knockout Ends In Surprise Result (VIDEO)

Riley Elmore battled Jason Warrior on The Voice 2016 Knockout Round on Monday, October 24, 2016, for Team Adam Levine!

I like Riley. I really do. But I felt like he was seriously out of his depth in this Knockout battle. He did a really good job with “Haven’t Met You Yet” by Michael Buble, but I just think Jason Warrior was better. I also wasn’t a fan of the song choice, since this comes after all that talk in the Blind Audition about how there are crooners out there other than Michael Buble. If that’s the case, then PICK ONE! Don’t do a Michael Buble song if you don’t have to, because it’s just about the safest choice you could possibly make. Granted, for a guy so inexperienced, “safe” is probably a good thing. But still, it’s frustrating because I know Riley could be great. I don’t think he was better than Jason Warrior, who sang the hell out of “I Want You” by Luke James. I simply think Riley was the more unique of the two. Luckily, this isn’t the end for Jason, so we haven’t seen the last of either singer. Watch the performance videos below:
