Kelly Clarkson Covers ‘Heaven’ by Bryan Adams for Her Husband (VIDEO)
Kelly Clarkson is continuing her tradition of a special cover song for each stop of her Piece By Piece Tour. This time, the American Idol winner stopped in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she performed a special song for a very special man.
Kelly sang a cover of “Heaven” by Bryan Adams, and dedicated it to her husband, Brandon Blackstock. The performance apparently took place on August 9th, just six days after Reba McEntire and Blackstock’s father, Narvel, announced their separation after 26 years of marriage. Kelly’s performance comes across as an affirmation of her love for Blackstock, as if to say, “That won’t be us.” It’s a gorgeous performance, and worth checking out below:
