Kane Set To Return to WWE Monday Night Raw
The Big Red Monster is on his way back! WWE star Kane is expected to return to TV on next Monday’s RAW from Minneapolis, MN, marking his first appearance on WWE television since he teamed with The Undertaker to defeat Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper at Survivor Series 2015.
In addition to his appearance on Raw this Monday night, Kane will also compete at the 13th annual Tribute to the Troops special. Taped on December 8th in Jacksonville, Florida, the special will air on December 23rd on USA Network, and will feature appearances by Howie Mandel, Train, and other special guests.
On the one hand, Kane’s return should help out with the roster depth, since superstars are getting injured left and right. On the other hand, I’m a bit worn out on Kane as a character. I think a little bit more time away from the ring would help freshen him up for his inevitable return. It’s sort of how I feel about The Big Show. There just isn’t much you can do with him that hasn’t been done already. I’m sure WWE has plans for him, but I’m not so certain those plans will be worth bringing him back so soon. Let him be a Royal Rumble surprise, or let him be a mystery partner for Roman Reigns against The Authority. Ah well, here’s hoping whatever they have planned for him is at least decent.
But what do you think Kane’s role should be when he returns? Sound off in the comments!
