Johnny Depp Plays Donald Trump In Funny Or Die Biopic (VIDEO)
In what may be the weirdest story we’ll post all week, Johnny Depp just played Donald Trump in a nearly hour-long Funny or Die biopic of the politician titled Donald Trump’s The Art Of The Deal: The Movie. Seeing Depp play Trump is surreal enough, but this movie is narrated by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, features an original song from Kenny Loggins, and has a cast that includes Patton Oswalt, Alfred Molina, Robert Morse, Jack McBrayer, Michaela Watkins, Henry Winkler, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Lloyd, Kristen Schaal, Andy Richter, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, Tymberlee Hill, Jordan Coleman, Joe Nuñez, Jeremy Konner, and Alf. Yes, freakin’ ALF.
The official description from Funny or Die actually makes this sound somewhat legit — or at least as legit as a comedy biopic could be: “Donald Trump has it all. Money, power, respect, and an Eastern European bride. But all his success didn’t come for nothing. First, he inherited millions of dollars from his rich father, then he grabbed New York City by the balls. Now you can learn the art of negotiation, real estate, and high-quality brass in this illuminating made-for-TV special feature, Funny Or Die Presents Donald Trump’s The Art Of The Deal: The Movie.” To watch the full movie, click on the video below:
This is basically insanity. You could probably make the argument that a Trump presidency would result in similarly crazy comedy projects, but in a million years, I never would have guessed we’d get Johnny Depp playing Donald Trump opposite Alf. Hell of a world we live in these days.
But hey, if you’re sick of Donald Trump the human, check out Donald Trump the puppy. This might just be the most bearable version of Trump yet!
