Regular Car Reviews is back with a review of the 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, the Mustang of pure excess. A car that, for all intents and purposes, didn’t need to exist.
Of course, even by acknowledging all the excess, Mr. Regular is compelled to point out that the Shelby Mustang is a lot like royalty. Sure, Mustangs tend to get a bad rap, and all the more so when they’re as over-the-top as a car like this threatens to be. But there’s something majestic to a car like this. As Mr. Regular puts it, it’s an “ode to classic American muscle.” Say what you will about the Mustangs of the modern era, but this sounds gorgeous, and it has insane pull to go with that thunderous roar.
