Hulk Hogan Tweets Support to Former WWE Champion Dave Bautista
Hulk Hogan looks to finally be moving on from his racism scandal over the summer, reaching out to another former WWE star in a show of support that not all pro wrestling stars are bitter when a colleague goes on to greener pastures.
Hogan tweeted his support to Dave Bautista, who was in the UK for the premiere of the new James Bond movie, Spectre, in which he has a supporting role. While his role isn’t as big as Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s still a major get for the former WWE champion, and it signifies a promising film career ahead, especially with the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel coming May 7, 2017. Hogan, who knows a thing or two about movies himself, sent a shoutout to Bautista in this tweet:
@DaveBautista yo David you make all of us so proud, you always carry yourself like a true champion and gentleman, only love and success 4U HH

While some might argue that Hogan is riding coattails (since, out of all his movies, the only real success he’s had at the box office was as Thunderlips in Rocky III), I actually think this is kind of touching. Granted, I don’t know if Hogan and Bautista are even close at all, but this show of support suggests that a guy can get out of the business, go on to do movies, and not catch hell for it like, say, The Rock did.
But what do you think of Hogan’s tweet? Sound off in the comments!
