HTC One M9 Sneak Peek (VIDEO)

Premiere technical blogger Marques Brownlee previews what to expect from the new HTC One M9 smartphone.

Marques gave the HTC One M8 the MKBHD Smartphone of 2014 award last month, so this is one of his most anticipated updates for 2015.

The site Phandroid — a trusted leak site — got hold of the HTC One M9, and the most striking feature seems to be the rearranging of the buttons. The M8 power button for example was on top, but some users found it hard to reach, so putting it on the side on the M9 makes a lot of sense.

Another leaked spec is the 20 megapixel camera, probably made by Sony. That’s awesome. Will it give the iPhone a run for its money with photo quality? We’ll see soon enough — should be an exciting match up in the coming months.

Overall, the phone looks the same with the front facing top and down speakers. It’s probably going have a 5-inch 1080p display like the M8 but could be bumped up a bit.

Other leaked specs are: 3 GB RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

As Marques said at the end of the video: “We can chat about One M9… all day.”
