Honda has revealed a brand new concept car, and it's downright insane.
The Honda Project 2&4 is looking to blend the open-wheel design of a race car with the lean, white-knuckle power of a sports motorcycle, utilizing a 999cc V-4 to excite car and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. The name of the car is a throwback to Honda's roots in both two-wheel and four-wheel racing, and the Project 2&4 is looking to offer the best of both worlds. It's powered by Honda's RC213V competition motorcycle engine, and makes 212 horsepower and 87 pound-feet of torque. In addition, the vehicle redlines at 14,000rpm, which is no joke. Basically, it's got the lightweight design of a go-kart, but with the speed and power of a racer, and a sense of style that lies somewhere in the middle. It's instantly striking, and it should be just as stunning to watch in action. Check out photos of the Project 2&4 below:Credit: HondaCredit: Honda
The Project 2&4 will make its official debut next week at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.
