Helicopter Crash Kills 2 En Route to Filming for MTV Show ‘The Challenge’

Once again, an air crash causes tragedy in the entertainment world.

Two people have been killed after a helicopter involved in filming the MTV reality series The Challenge crashed in Argentina on Saturday. The crash, which took place near Potrerillos Dam in Mendoza, is still under investigation. A pilot and technician were killed, although it’s not confirmed if others were injured as a result of the crash, nor is it known what, exactly, caused the tragic crash.

MTV has released a statement, saying that the helicopter was flying to a filming location for the show. Furthermore, it’s stated that the pilot and technician in question were not part of the cast or crew of The Challenge.

This is the second such tragedy of this nature in the past several months, as filming on the latest Tom Cruise movie resulted in a plane crash that killed two.

Our condolences are with the family and friends of the victims at this time.
