‘Glory Hole’ Spillway Overflows
The Morning Glory Spillway at Lake Berryessa in California started overflowing this weekend for the first time in 10 years after heavy rain. A drone captured the moment and it was indeed “glorious.” The spillway is nicknamed “glory hole” and thankfully not NSFW.
The Morning Glory Spillway, called the “Glory Hole” by locals, spilled over for the first time in 10 years this week. The overflow is a result of a month of recent rains filling the river in formerly drought-stricken California.
