Classic Tetris Champion Sets Another World Record

Rickey

Classic Tetris Champion Joseph Saelee set another world record on NES Tetris reaching 347 lines from a Level 9 start. He was attempting a combined lines world record with one of his buddies CheeZ_Fish when he achieved the feat. They both reached the combined record with a total of 649 lines.

Joseph won the Classic Tetris World Championship in 2018 and 2019. He’s single-handedly inspiring a new generation of players to take up NES Tetris - a game which was released in 1989. The next CTWC is in August 2020.

Joseph is a legend!
