Frankie Edgar Calls Out UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor (VIDEO)

Frankie Edgar wants a shot at UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor following the champ’s upset loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. And Edgar is throwing in a bit of Freddy Krueger-style mindgames to get under McGregor’s skin.

On Twitter, Edgar posted a nursery rhyme inspired by the 1984 horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street, throwing in references to Iron Army and the July 9 date for UFC 200. “One-two, Frankie’s coming for you; Three-four, you better guard your jaw; Five-six, Conor doesn’t want this; Seven-eight, July 9 is the date; Nine-ten, Iron Army till the end,” the nursery rhyme went. Apparently, Edgar has been hounding UFC president relentlessly since UFC 196, hoping to get the shot against McGregor in July. But no official decisions have been made regarding the UFC 200 card or McGregor’s next opponent. But until then, check out Frankie Edgar calling out Conor McGregor below:
