Formula E Announces Driverless ROBORACE Grand Prix Racing
Formula 1’s electric arm the Formula E Championship has announced plans to race driverless cars during the 2016-2017 season.
The series called ROBORACE will be run right before the Formula E Championship race on the same circuit.
The race is a partnership between Formula 1’s parent company FIA and Kinetik. 10 teams, competing with two driverless cars, are planned for the event.
