Former WWE Star Cody Rhodes To Guest On ‘Arrow’ In Season 5
Former WWE star Cody Rhodes has been busy since becoming a free agent. Not only has a he officially entered Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s 2016 Battle of Los Angeles, he’s also apparently booked a guest starring role on Arrow in Season 5, opposite former in-ring rival Stephen Amell.
The announcement was made by both Amell and Rhodes during a panel at the Heroes & Villains Fanfest in New Jersey this weekend. The video of the panel, which also includes Amell and Rhodes discussing how they first met, was posted to Facebook. The new season of Arrow is set to start filming this Tuesday, July 5th. While there’s no word on whom Rhodes might be playing, the fact that he’s no longer tied to WWE means he could potentially have a role that lasts longer than a single episode. Here’s hoping. The guy is super-talented, and he has all the potential in the world to be the next big breakout acting star from the world of pro wrestling. Check out the video below, which also features an appearance by Rhodes’s wife, Brandi Runnels (former WWE announcer Eden Stiles):
