Former Danity Kane Members Call Out Diddy for Leaving Them In Debt (VIDEO)
Well, it turns out not all of the acts working under Sean “Diddy” Combs have had good experiences.
Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex, two former members of the Diddy-managed group Danity Kane, appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show to discuss their time in the platinum-selling group, in addition to addressing their future. However, the interview quickly turned into a Diddy hit piece, as the girls called him out taking their money and leaving them in debt.
“We were signed to Diddy,” Bex explained, when asked why they didn’t make money during the height of Danity Kane’s run.
“We have two platinum albums, let alone grossed over a million dollars on Christina Aguilera’s ‘Back to Basics’ tour,” O’Day added. “We came off the tour $15 thousand in debt and grossed millions.”
Apparently, the two singers — who are now a group called The Dumb Blondes — are going the independent route for their new album to avoid being left hanging by another record mogul like Diddy. And if any of these accusations are true, then I can’t say I blame them for not wanting to go through a major label. You can watch the full video below:
