Final WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016 Inductees Revealed

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016 is now complete! The news comes from a leaked copy of the official Wrestlemania 32 magazine, which revealed the full list of this year’s Hall of Fame inductees.

Former WWE Diva Jacqueline Moore and legendary international superstar Stan Hansen are the final two inductees for this year. As one of the first women to successfully crossover into wrestling men regularly in one of the top two promotions during the Monday Night War, Jackie Moore was also a 14-time USWA Women’s Champion, a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and a two-time WWE Women’s Champion. Meanwhile, Hansen is considered the most iconic foreign performer in the history of Japan, becoming a legend in All Japan Pro Wrestling, holding the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship on four occasions, and holding a slew of other titles, including the NWA International Heavyweight Champion and the AJPW World Tag Team Championship (on eight occasions and with five different tag team partners, including fellow inductee Terry Gordy, who goes into the Hall of Fame this year as a member of the Fabulous Freebirds). Hansen has also had success stateside with an iconic run with Bruno Sammartino in 1976, and another with Bob Backlund during the latter’s record-breaking five-year championship run.

The complete list of inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016 is as follows:

The Godfather
The Fabulous Freebirds
The Big Boss Man
Jacqueline Moore
Stan Hansen

It’s a strong list of inductees this year, although you’d think JBL would have gone in this year, considering Wrestlemania is in Texas. And while it’s probably too soon for Daniel Bryan, they inducted Eddie Guerrero just months after he passed away. By the same token, it didn’t take long for Edge to be inducted after his retirement. I fully expect Bryan to headline next year’s class, and it wouldn’t surprise me if JBL were next year’s de facto Attitude Era inductee.
