Fifth Harmony Is Over As Members Pursue Solo Careers
Just like One Direction before them, girlband Fifth Harmony has announced a “hiatus” as its remaining four members take a crack at solo careers. The quartet made the announcement on social media Monday morning.
It looks like Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui are going to try to copy the success of former member Camila Cabello who left the group in December 2016. She has since been a part of a lot of hits over the past year.
The girls auditioned for The X Factor USA in 2012 and emerged as the the breakout stars of their season after the show thanks to fan support on social media.
Unfortunately, I think this is it. Though they said they will still perform scheduled concerts in 2018, groups that “take a break” do not reform for a very a long time, if ever.
OMG I’m getting flashbacks… anything can happen… anything can happen… anything can happen… anything can happen!!!
