Italian fashion designer Elio Fiorucci died on Monday at his home in Milan. He was 80.
A fashion industry pioneer, Fiorucci opened his first store in 1967 bringing the eccentric, unconventional style of the Swinging London to Milan. Good friend of personalities like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Madonna, in 1970 Fiorucci launched his namesake ready-to-wear line, focused on denim pieces at affordable prices
