Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Join The Voice 11 as Key Advisers
The key advisers have been revealed for The Voice 11, and they’re not only two legends in the world of country music, they’re also married!
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will join The Voice as the Key Advisers for the Knockout Rounds in Season 11. The Knockout Round is the final hurdle the contestants must clear before the Live Playoffs, so the stakes will be pretty damn high. That said, there’s a certain irony to having country music advisers on a season with fewer country acts than there has ever been on the show. At the very least, it’s the fewest country acts we’ve had in several seasons. Still, Hill and McGraw should be able to offer some decent insight into multiple facets of the music industry, from stage presence to vocals.
“I think having the perspective of performing live in many different venues, from clubs to stadiums, will help us in working with the Voice artists this season,” Hill said in a statement. “It’s important that they be able to connect with their audience.”
“I really like to dig into songs and how they need to be presented in a live environment,” McGraw added. “I’m looking forward to working with the coaches to help the artists reach their potential.”
They join a list of celebrity advisers for this season that includes Battle Round advisers Bette Midler (Team Blake), Sammy Hagar (Team Adam), Charlie Puth (Team Alicia) and Joan Jett (Team Miley). So there will be a pretty diverse array of music styles represented by the mentors chosen for this season.
