Emmitt Smith, Flo Rida and Craig Wayne Boyd Pull Out of Donald Trump’s Miss USA Pageant
NFL legend Emmitt Smith, The Voice winner Craig Wayne Boyd and rapper Flo Rida have bailed on Miss USA, after pageant owner Donald Trump made derogatory remarks against immigrants.
Emmitt Smith was supposed to be one of the judges and Flo Rida was scheduled to perform during the evening gown competition. Craig Wayne Boyd was also one of the performers.
Previously, Thomas Roberts and Cheryl Burke (who was Smith’s partner on their championship Dancing with the Stars season) also backed out as hosts. Performer Natalie La Rose also withdrew.
NBC announced this week that they have cut all ties with Donald Trump and will not air Miss USA or Miss Universe.
Miss USA organizers are still going through with the pageant this July 12 and will stream the show on their website.
