Elizabeth Warren Warns: No Confirmation Hearings For Trump Cabinet
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has laid down the gauntlet: there will be no confirmation hearings by the Senate of Donald Trump’s appointees until they are thoroughly screened for conflict of interest.
Warren tweeted out her anger on Saturday as it was revealed that the Trump transition committee has “lost contact” with the Office of Government Ethics. The OGE is assigned to make sure there are no conflict of interest by government officials.
Donald Trump and his cabinet picks are required by law to place their assets in a “blind trust” – as in sell all their assets – for the duration of their stay in office.
Cabinet officials must put our country's interests before their own. No conf hearings should be held until we’re certain that’s the case.

This is ridiculous. @realDonaldTrump’s noms can’t drag their feet on ethics paperwork while their Senate friends try to run out the clock.
