Donald Trump Tried To Force National Park Service To Verify His False Crowd Size
Donald Trump is so obsessed about his inauguration crowd size, he asked the National Park Service to back his false number claims.
According to the Washington Post, Trump called National Park Service director Michael Reynolds last Saturday and ordered new aerial photographs of the inauguration. He hoped that these new photos would prove that the media was lying about the attendance. New photos were provided, but they still did not match Trump’s estimations of the inauguration crowd.
On Saturday, Trump was at a CIA event and instead of honoring fallen CIA operatives, he attacked the media for reporting there were empty spaces at the Mall during the inauguration.
“It looked like a million, a million and a half people,” Trump said, which is an extreme exaggeration.
