A dog from Lehmrade, Germany has learned to help out with her family’s chores which includes putting away dishes in the dishwasher. Wait, what? I guess you can teach dogs anything!
Amelie, a seven-year-old German Pinscher dog, is the star of her family’s Instagram account. This is one of the more impressive tricks she’s done this month. When interviewed by Storyful, her father Luca Neumman said:
“We started to train her tricks when she was two years old, which means that she learned a lot. There’re some tricks which took really a long time to teach her, but this one with the dishes was quite easy for her to understand.”

The German Pinscher is a medium sized dog which is the origin of more popular breeds like the Doberman, the Rottweiller and the Miniature Pinscher. The breed was accepted by the AKC in 2003 and is gaining popularity in the U.S.
I’m glad to see that Amelia is “all-natural” with no ear cropping or tail docking.
