Director to Cut Mark Salling From Film if Child Pornography Allegations Prove True
Adi Shankar, the director of Salling’s latest film Gods and Secrets has promised to cut Salling from his movie if the allegations prove true.
Said Shankar to E! News, “Today I was made aware of the serious allegations against Salling as a result of numerous media outlets hounding me as to whether he would remain in Gods and Secrets.”
“I won’t feed our growing pitchfork culture,” he continued. “I’m going to wait for all the facts to arrive and if in fact these allegations are true, I will immediately take action which includes removing his scenes from the project.”
Salling was released from a Los Angeles federal detention center on Tuesday (Dec. 29) and was released after posting $20,000 bail.
TMZ is reporting that the photos in questions were of girls under the age of ten participating in sexual acts.
