Did David Archuleta just say marriage was only between a man and a woman?

Everyone took part in their obligatory Easter day/Resurrection Sunday tweets, even I did. Apparently while live-tweeting a sermon on April 4, David Archuleta was in the presence of a speaker who thought it necessary that while talking about how Jesus rose, to also tie in love between a man and a woman?

Because that makes sense right? I hate when people try to use Christ as a scapegoat for this stuff. For believers like myself, this is NOT what he would have been about.

“Romantic love is incomplete. It is a prelude. Love is nourished by the coming of children, who spring from the fountain of love…

Along with things like this and the racists that are my age attending college – discrimination/prejudice is not a generational thing. It transcends age. What do you think?

Are we reading too much in to this?

Not that I’m surprised. But it’s pretty public of a statement.

UPDATE: David Archuleta has apologized (Read Statement)
