Cole Miller on UFC Status: ‘I Don’t Even Want To Be Here’
UFC has plenty of employees who are angry about their status in the company, whether it’s Jose Aldo threatening retirement over not getting his rematch with Conor McGregor, or whether it’s Mark Hunt justifiably lashing out at the company for putting him in the octagon yet again with a guy who ended up being popped by USADA. Now, you can add Cole Miller to the list of disgruntled fighters.
In an interview with Sherdog, Miller lashed out at UFC over his lost payout in the wake of his UFC Fight Night match-up being cancelled last month. Miller is so upset about his treatment by the company, he’d just as soon work at Starbucks, apparently. At one point in the interview, he straight up declares, “I don’t even want to be here right now.” It’s an epic rant but also an interesting look into the psyche of a guy who feels like he’s been jerked around by an organization that’s eroding his faith in MMA.
