Clerk Who Refuses To Issue Gay Marriage Licenses Was Married Four Times and Had Two Kids Out Of Wedlock
Talk about hypocrisy! Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk, who refuses to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples and elevated her case to the U.S. Supreme Court had two children out of wedlock and had been married four times. She cited “God’s authority” for refusing to do her job and called it a “heaven or hell” issue.
If marriage is so sacred for her then she shouldn’t have had sex out of wedlock. That’s an abomination to her god. And getting married four times like she was changing her underwear in this context is just laughable.
It’s now obvious that she’s using her “faith” to justify her bigotry. Shame shame shame.
Glad the Supremes refused to take her case.
Rowan County should do the right thing and get her out of office.
U.S. News obtained court records that show Davis has been married four times and gave birth to twins out of wedlock.
According to the AP, Davis married a man named Dwain Wallace when she was 18 and divorced him in 1994. She married Joe Davis two years later and they divorced after 10 years. When she was 40 years old, she married Thomas McIntyre in a marriage that lasted less than a year. The twins were fathered by her third husband and later adopted by Joe, who she remarried in 2009.
