Cissy Houston says ‘Bobbi Kristina Brown Not Progressing at All’
One day after a judge ruled Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown, her grandmother Cissy Houston spoke about her current condition to ET: “She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all.”
Whitney Houston’s mother added:
“She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
Houston performed “The Blood that Jesus Shed for Me” on Saturday evening at McDonald’s Gospelfest in New Jersey and the lyrics had special meaning for her, telling ET:
“Way back on the cavalry. The blood that gives me strength from day to day shall never lose its power.”
On the co-guardianship of Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, she said:
“It came alright, It was fine. We’re a family…that works together for the best. You want the best for whomever or everybody we can…We can be on the other side too if you make us be but we are not going to do that. There’s no reason for that. That’s why I’m concerned. So, that’s the end of that.”
It was reported earlier that Cissy Houston “would fight it to the grave” when Bobby Brown made a move to take over Bobbi Kristina’s estate worth an estimated $20 million. Cissy Houston and her son Gary and daughter-in-law Pat are the executors of the estate.
Along with the co-guardianship, a judge also assigned an attorney to oversee financial and legal matters regarding Krissi.
It’s reported that Bobby Brown got the short end of the ruling, as he no longer is the sole decision maker regarding Bobbi Kristina’s medical care. And he didn’t get to control all aspects of the estate like he wanted.
