Christina Aguilera and Bow Wow Take Over Spike TV With ‘Tracks’ (VIDEO)

The only female coach to ever win The Voice is headed to Spike alongside the rapper formerly known as Bow Wow for a new series called Tracks.

According to the official press release, two half-hour specials of Tracks will premiere back-to-back on Thursday, September 1 starting at 10:30 PM ET/PT following a special “TMI” edition of Lip Sync Battle featuring Aguilera’s appearance during the Hayden Panettiere vs. Eva Longoria showdown.

Of course, this all begs the question: what is Tracks anyway?

As the release details, Tracks is a music-based game show in which teams of two will have to guess the name of a song title, with only the song’s individual tracks (e.g. guitar, bass, drums, etc.) as a clue. It’s essentially a modern update of Name That Tune, in a way. The show will be hosted by Shad Moss a.k.a. Bow Wow and will also feature surprise guest performances. For example, one episode will feature Tommy Lee performing the drum track during game play, while Aguilera will also drop by for an appearance in one of the two episodes. It sounds like a lot of fun, and definitely worth checking out. You can watch a preview for the series below:
