Chris Harrison Reveals Which Season of ‘The Bachelorette’ He Would Have Joined
Chris Harrison has hosted twelve seasons of The Bachelorette. But which season would he have joined as a contestant, if he’d had the choice?
In an interview with PEOPLE, Harrison revealed whose heart he’d have competed for, if he’d had the option of being a contestant rather than a host. As it turns out, he would have joined the very first season of The Bachelorette, which featured Trista Rehn Sutter as the star.
“That’s when I was the youngest and probably in the best shape,” Harrison stated. “Because I’m not about to take my shirt off anytime soon.”
Harrison would go on to add that he is an attendee, and just might be the officiant, at the respective weddings of the three Bachelor in Paradise couples who became engaged at the end of the latest season: Amanda Stanton & Josh Murray, Carly Waddell & Evan Bass, and Lace Morris & Grant Kemp. His big advice on anyone with a wedding to attend?
“Candlesticks make a great gift.”
Well gee, now you tell me. (I had a wedding two weeks ago!)
