California Residents Can Now Legally Take Medicine To End Their Lives
California’s “End of Life Option Act” goes into effect on Thursday, becoming the fifth state to have a legal process for terminally ill patients to get aid in dying.
Advocates of the law say that people should have the “right to die.”
