Caitlyn Jenner Can Have Name Changed In Olympic Hall of Fame
The U.S. Olympic Committee will allow Caitlyn Jenner to change her name from Bruce to Caitlyn in the record books should she choose to.
TMZ reports that all Caitlyn needs to do is file a formal request and the Committee will review it – and bam, Bruce is gone forever in history.
Caitlyn Jenner was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1986 after she won a gold medal in the 1976 Olympic decathlon. Her name at that time was Bruce.
Caitlyn still has time to think it over as the Hall of Fame inductees won’t have a physical ceremony until 2018 when the U.S. Olympic Museum opens.
Caitlin Jenner came out as a woman for the very first time this week on the cover of Vanity Fair.
She also announced her new docu-series on E! as a woman: “I am Cait.”
