Brother of Former WWE Star Kurt Angle Arrested for Wife’s Murder

The brother of former WWE superstar, current TNA Impact wrestler, and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has been arrested for the murder of his wife.

David Angle, 62, was charged in connection to the death of his wife, Donna Angle, 57, who was found unresponsive in their Dormont, PA, home early on Sunday morning. Paramedics transported her to a local hospital, where she was, sadly, pronounced dead.

According to reports, David Angle told officers that his wife had been trying to pressure him into drinking with her. During the argument, Donna Angle kicked David, causing him to respond by grabbing her arms, placing his foot on her chest, and pulling. Donna went unconscious, prompting David to attempt resuscitation. He was, unfortunately, unsuccessful. Police responded to the domestic disturbance claims, but by the time paramedics got there, Donna Angle was unable to be saved.

David Angle has officially been charged with homicide. He is currently awaiting arraignment in Allegheny County Jail.

This is a sad situation all-around, mostly because of how preventable it was. Had David simply left the house to create some kind of separation between himself and his wife, this might not have happened. Then again, it appeared Donna had problems of her own, so it seems things aren’t as clear-cut as they might seem. The only thing that’s certain is that this is a needless tragedy.
