‘Breaking Bad’ Star Wins New Mexico Primary
“Breaking Bad” actor Steven Michael Quezada who played DEA Agent Steven Gomez on the hit show won New Mexico’s primary for county commissioner. He advances to the general election in Bernalillo County.

Quezada is currently a member of the school board in Albuquerque – the same city that served as the backdrop for Breaking Bad.
He received a powerful endorsement last month from the show’s top star Bryan Cranston.
“He will fight for more education funding, fight to keep this community safe, and fight to bring much needed jobs to the community,” the Emmy Award-winning actor said in a voter mailer.
