Bobby Brown and Wife Alicia Etheredge Welcome Baby Girl
Amid all the turmoil surrounding the fate of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Bobby Brown has welcomed a new member in his family.
Brown’s wife of three years, Alicia Etheredge, gave birth to a baby girl yesterday, July 11, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This is the couple’s second child, after 5-year-old Cassius. However, this is the sixth child for Brown, who’s spent the past few months alternating between work engagements and remaining at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside. His only child with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January, in a scenario that’s eerily reminiscent of her mother’s own death. Bobbi Kristina has essentially been in a coma ever since. Just last month, she was moved to hospice care to allow her to die peacefully.
Unfortunately, now it seems the Brown family won’t actually get the chance to visit, as they’ve reportedly banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina due to the suspicion that they were responsible for the deathbed photo that’s been making the rounds online. Further details from TMZ:
Bobby Brown’s family can no longer visit Bobbi Kristina in hospice — they’ve been banned because security guards believe one of them took the deathbed photo that’s being shopped around.
Sources close to the situation tell us the security team at the hospice informed Whitney Houston’s family there was evidence incriminating a Brown family member as the person who snapped the pic.
We’re told Bobbi Kristina’s estate — run by her legal guardians — made the decision to ban the Browns. We’re also told although they know the culprit … they’re not naming names at this point.
So it’s a bit of a bittersweet situation right now, as Brown welcomes one daughter as he could find himself saying goodbye to another. Just a really conflicted time for the Brown family. Still, we’d like to extend our congratulations to Bobby and Alicia on the birth of their daughter.
