Bobbi Kristina will not be taken off life support on Wednesday, says Bobby Brown lawyer
A lawyer for Bobby Brown has issued a statement that Bobbi Kristina Brown will not be taken off life support on Wednesday, the death anniversary of Whitney Houston.
Lawyer Christopher Brown said there is no truth to the story reported by many outlets this morning, according to TMZ.
The lawyer also issued a blanket statement about the coverage of Bobbi Kristina so far:
“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended.” Said Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown. “However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.” Brown added.
“We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.” Said Bobby Brown.
Earlier today, NY Post (and TMZ) reported that sources from the Brown family said that Bobbi Kristina will be taken off life support on the same date that Whitney Houston died, Feb. 11.
Cissy Houston, Whitney’s mother is quoted as saying the date would “bond mother and daughter for eternity.”
We’ll keep you posted tonight if life support is indeed withdrawn. If not, the miracle watch continues!
Honestly, if they end up pulling life support off tonight, and this lawyer issued this statement just to confuse everyone, then he’s an a-hole. So they want to be able to announce it themselves? What is this, a spoiler? Anyways…
Meanwhile, the investigation of Nick Gordon for criminal foul play is still ongoing.
