Bobbi Kristina Brown Hit With $730 K Lawsuit In Head-On Car Crash
Bobbi Kristina Brown may be in hospice care right now, but that has not stopped a man from filing a $730,000 lawsuit against her, after a head-on car crash in January 2015, which left him bleeding and without a pulse at one point.
The suit was filed against Bobbi Kristina’s estate which include her guardians Bobby Brown, Pat Houston and conservator Bedelia Hargrove. The Ford Motor Company was also named as a defendant as the airbags and seatbelts were allegedly defective.
The accident occurred three days before Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bathtub in her home.
From NY Daily News:
The suit, filed Friday in Fulton County, Ga., Supreme Court, charges that Brown was speeding and tailgating a car when she lost control of her 2005 Jeep Liberty, swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with Eckerman’s Ford Taurus.
At the time of the crash, a witness said Eckerman was bleeding from his head and did not have a pulse. Eckerman was revived and taken to North Fulton Hospital, where he spent several days in critical condition.
Witness Osse Lessage told reporters at the time that Bobbi Kristina jumped out of her car and raced to Eckerman to find out his condition.
“She was running and screaming, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Lessage said at the time. “My brother-in-law was there (saying) ‘calm down, calm down.’”
What a mess!
Obviously the timing of this lawsuit is at just the right moment before Bobbi Kristina dies in hospice care. It would have been a different case if she were already gone.
