‘Birdman’ and ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ Reign at Costume Designers Guild Awards 2015

The Costume Designers Guild has had its say, as Best Costume Design Oscar nominees Into the Woods and The Grand Budapest Hotel were among the winners, as was presumptive Best Picture frontrunner, Birdman. The Costume Designers Guild Awards 2015 didn’t just honor film, however, as achievements in television were honored as well. Game of Thrones and True Detective were singled out for their achievements, in Outstanding Period/Fantasy Television Series and Outstanding Contemporary Television Series, respectively.
