Big Show Possibly Injured at WWE Live Event

Has WWE’s largest athlete gone down with an injury?

Reports are coming in that The Big Show suffered a knee injury at a WWE live event in Kalamazoo, Michigan, over the weekend. The injury reportedly came during a match which saw Big Show teaming with Dolph Ziggler to take on Braun Strowman and Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family. Ziggler and Big Show won the match, but the end of the contest saw Show land badly on his knee. Although he celebrated with Ziggler after the match, it appeared he wasn’t putting any real weight on the leg. Show eventually left under the bottom rope and retreated to the back as Ziggler continued to celebrate with fans. It was hard to tell if Show was simply selling or if it was a legit injury, but I suppose we’ll know how serious it is on Raw tonight. Presumably, Big Show will be around, but if he’s not, then perhaps there’s smoke to this fire. It’d certainly be a shame for Show to go down this close to Wrestlemania, where he’d presumably try to make it two years in a row as winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Ultimately, I hope it’s not as bad as it seems. Sure, he’s been around for a while, and the character is kind of stale, but I mostly enjoy The Big Show when he’s around. He’s one of the best “big guy” performers of his generation. Hell, of any generation. Get well soon, Show! (You know, provided you weren’t just doing a really good job of selling)
