‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Renewed For Fourth Season

Next summer, ABC is taking us back to Paradise for more sun-soaked absurdity: The network has officially renewed Bachelor In Paradise for a fourth season!

The spinoff of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is fresh off its most noteworthy season finale yet, as three couples were engaged at the Playa Escondida resort in Sayulita, Mexico. Presumably, the show will return to that location for Season 4, although nothing is set in stone just yet.

Of course, this was a really divisive season for a lot of fans. Between casting a bunch of people many fans could hardly remember (presumably because more familiar faces turned down the invitation to Paradise), and delivering trainwrecks that were either scary (Chad) or painfully obnoxious (Ashley I. and her constant crying/mooning over Jared), there were a lot of fans who didn’t exactly enjoy this season. That said, there was still a fair amount to like, from Nick stepping it up in the likability department to three couples actually getting engaged by the end of it. Granted, they weren’t the most popular couples on the island, but at this rate, the franchise needs a win, when it comes to actually finding love. The more Jade and Tanner-like success stories, the better. I suppose now begins the waiting game of seeing which of these couples actually last.
