‘American Idol’ Winner Trent Harmon Covers ‘I’m Sorry’ By Blake Shelton (VIDEO)

American Idol winner Trent Harmon is covering a song by The Voice coach Blake Shelton. But hey, it’s a song that’s absolutely worthy of Trent’s magnificent voice, and it’s also one of Blake’s most poignant and resonant tracks, “I’m Sorry”.

In this video, we can watch Trent Harmon perform Blake Shelton’s “I’m Sorry”. Granted, the song instantly draws comparisons with the version by Adam Wakefield, who was a Team Blake finalist on The Voice Season 10. But I feel by versions deserve to have the spotlight. This is a great song that Blake wrote, and I think it’s the kind of song that can fit on just about any artist, regardless of whether or not they’re an overt country artist. Granted, I think country artists who perform this song tend to leave a real mark on it, so I love both the Trent and Adam versions. And Blake’s as well, of course. Watch the video below:
