‘American Idol’ and ‘The Voice’ Stars to Perform at Republican National Convention 2016

The Republican National Convention 2016 will feature some familiar faces and names from American Idol and The Voice.

American Idol winner Candice Glover, The Voice winner Jermaine Paul, Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle, and Voice finalist Dez Duron perform in Cleveland for the Republican National Convention, as part of the Young Republican, College Republican and Log Cabin Republican convention watch party and concert. The schedule has them perform at the close of festivities on the convention floor.

I wouldn’t really count this as an endorsement for Donald Trump from any of these singers though. After all, a paying gig is a paying gig. And say what you will about the RNC, but there’s going to be a LOT of eyeballs on that convention. Might as well make the system work for you, in some fashion.
